Dr. Sherry L. Gevedon is a transformational leader, systems thinker, and innovation strategist with deep expertise in healthcare, leadership development, and venture strategy. Holding a PhD in Transformational Leadership from Miami University, she brings over two decades of experience driving innovation across academia, industry, and the public sector.

Sherry’s career spans faculty roles in business and nursing, service as an academic dean in health sciences entrepreneurship, and leadership positions in healthcare and enterprise innovation. As the founder of PES, Inc., she has delivered executive seminars and advised private equity and venture capital firms on technology innovation, while mentoring early-stage startups for 20 years. A former AFWERX Innovation Leader, she has embedded cultures of innovation in mission-critical environments.

As a founding force behind S2 Innovation’s global innovation model, Sherry architects multi-company workshops, hybrid learning labs, and sector-specific innovation engagements that deliver measurable impact. She is known for turning complexity into clarity, translating vision into scalable frameworks, orchestrating high-velocity collaborations, and developing innovation leaders who can navigate change.

Dr. Shawn Swanson is an innovation strategist and educator with over a decade of experience advancing technologies across healthcare, government, and academia. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, with a specialization in applying artificial intelligence to complex systems in healthcare and defense.

As prior faculty at the University of Washington, Dr. Swanson led the Engineering Innovation in Health program, guiding interdisciplinary teams through biodesign methodologies to transform unmet clinical needs into viable technologies. His work sits at the intersection of engineering, AI, and healthcare delivery.

Previously, Dr. Swanson served as an Innovation Leader at AFWERX, where he co-founded SparkLab and delivered global training in design thinking and biodesign to Air Force personnel. He has mentored more than 100 startups and facilitated innovation workshops that empower professionals to solve high-stakes challenges with creative precision.

At S2 Innovation, Dr. Swanson drives the design and execution of the S2 Innovation workshops, translating unmet needs into implementable solutions. He partners with cross-functional teams to build internal innovation capability, implement data-driven transformation initiatives, and create frameworks that scale solutions across healthcare, government, and enterprise settings.
